Film & Video Production

Program Overview
Film and video production courses provide students with the necessary training to become camera operators, sound recordists and video editors. Most of the courses are transferrable to the UC and Cal State systems.
The Film and Video program at Allan Hancock Colleges affords students the opportunity to study the discipline with courses in three core areas:
- Film/Video Production
- Screenwriting
- Film Studies
Students write, produce and edit narrative and documentary projects in a series of courses designed to bring students from beginning through intermediate production and post-production techniques.
AHC is proud to offer our students access to the latest in digital production and post-production technology.

Richard Caliguri
Cosmetology Instructor
"Being able to teach Cosmetology has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my hairdressing career. To be able to take a new batch of students who are open to new ideas and be able to help mold them into future stylists is very rewarding. I learn as much from the students as they learn from my teaching. Being associated with Allan Hancock College has allowed me to do what I love most: teach."
