Kinesiology, Recreation & Athletics
The function of the athletics/health/physical education department is to develop, coordinate, and implement all health and physical education programs and courses. This department also supports all intercollegiate athletic activities and monitors all student athlete eligibility.
The physical education major offers students two options: exercise science/pre-physical therapy and teaching. All options are designed to prepare students to work effectively and successfully in the chosen area of concentration.

Physical Fitness Lab (PFL) hours:
Mon-Thu, 8 a.m.-8 p.m.; Fri, 8 a.m.-1 p.m.
Swimming Pool hours:
Mon-Thu, 8:30 a.m.-2 p.m. & 5-7 p.m.
Fri, 9 a.m.-1 p.m. & 5-7 p.m.
