It is the mission of the Allan Hancock College police department to serve the campus
community, safeguard lives and property, and maintain an environment in which learning
can take place. To fulfill this mission, the police department provides a variety
of public safety services for students, faculty, and the community.
The police department is staffed by state-certified police officers and dispatch/records
staff, office assistants, and security officers,. Police officers patrol the campus
in marked and unmarked police vehicles enforcing laws of the State of California and
all ordinances of Allan Hancock College.
Police and public safety services include crime prevention, lost and found property
control, emergency/disaster management, crime and accident investigation, parking
control, and security escort services.
