Have an idea for a business? Don’t know where to start or how to begin? The Small Business and Entrepreneurship Center provides invaluable resources, one-on-one consulting, networking events, and workshops to prepare you for the world of entrepreneurship.
The Small Business and Entrepreneurship Center (SBEC) is a collaborative effort of the Allan Hancock College business department, local business and industry, local K-12 and post-secondary education, and government. The center offers resources and support for students and individuals within the community to promote and advance small business development.
The SBEC focuses on seven primary areas:
- Youth Entrepreneurship
- Entrepreneurship Studies at Allan Hancock College
- Services to Area Businesses
- Services to Area Resident Workers
- Regional Business/Entrepreneurship Support
- Economic Development
- Promotion of Business & Entrepreneurship Statewide
