WorkKeys Testing Site
Job seekers are able to obtain work readiness certifications through the WorkKeys® job skill assessment system. Interested students should contact the CTEC to arrange for testing or the use of tutorial features of this system.
WorkKeys® Testing System
The WorkKeys® system defines the skills and skill levels needed to be successful on the job; assesses the current skill levels of individuals; and helps individuals and employers correct skill gaps. The system provides for assessing readiness for testing as well as specific skill training to help those not adequately prepared. The results can help employers streamline the qualification process and provide a reliable estimate of the likelihood for success on the job.
The content covers the three major skill areas-- Reading for Information, Locating Information, and Applied Mathematics-- that lead to the National Career Readiness Certificate.
The KeyTrain® tutorial program is available for job seekers who fail to demonstrate the required proficiency levels through WorkKeys®. This comprehensive, computer based program is used to assess the applicant's potential to pass the WorkKeys® assessment, review the requirements for each skill area, and to complete practice sessions.
