Learning Assistance Program Student Learning Outcomes

The Student Services Division at Allan Hancock College has identified learning outcomes to support student programs and services. The assessment of those outcomes enables the college to understand its effectiveness and improve student services and support functions.

Students will be able to:

  1. Request and use a disability related accommodation in a timely manner.
  2. Identify accommodations that are related to his or her disability.
  3. Use the learning strategies recommended by his or her disability specialist.
  4. Use adaptive computer technology when related to his or her disability.

"Without a doubt the best part about Hancock College is the relationships you build with a group of like-minded individuals, and growing with that group. I enjoy the positive training environment that is created by the cadre and their efforts to help the cadets. They make the experience inside and outside the classroom fun. I would recommend Allan Hancock College to anyone interested in networking with a wealth of cadets and cadre who know what it takes to do the job. The knowledge you can open yourself up to will put you ahead of the game during your search for a career."
