Path to Promise

Path to promise, your road to readinessThe goal of the Path to Promise is help high school students feel prepared and ready to succeed in college. Students will become more familiar with Hancock programs and services with a variety of workshops and outreach events at Allan Hancock College. Students and their families will understand and believe a college education is within their reach. Students will travel down the road to college readiness feeling supported, engaged, directed, valued, and nurtured by the college throughout their high school experience.

The Path to Promise is the second step of the Hancock Promise. The path focuses on preparing students to succeed in college. The path leads to the Hancock Promise and one year of free tuition and fees at Hancock. The college’s commitment continues into a student’s second year at Hancock with the Extended Promise to ensure a student completes a degree, certificate or transfers to a four-year university.
