Hancock Baseball Hosts Annual Holiday Clinic

Dec. 17-19 at John Osborne Field

Players ages six through 18-years-old are invited to sharpen their hitting, fielding, and pitching skills at the annual Allan Hancock College Holiday Baseball Clinic to be held Dec. 17-19 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Santa Maria campus’ John Osborne Field.

Instructors include Bryn Smith, former major league player; Allan Hancock College’s Head Coach Chris Stevens, assistant coaches Terry Newby, Cody Smith and Paul Swack, and pitching coach Clarence Griego; Scott Nickason, head coach of the Santa Maria Valley Packers; and Jim Allen, head coach, Lompoc High School. Various current Hancock players will also be in attendance.

The cost for the clinic is $100 and $75 for each additional family member. All camp participants will receive a free t-shirt. Register online or pick up a form at Play it Again Sports on South Broadway in Santa Maria. For more information call Clarence Griego at 922-6966 ext. 3904.
