Our Promise to you doesn’t end after your first year! Current Promise students may be eligible to continue enjoying the benefits of The Hancock Promise in 2019-20. The following information will ensure your success in completing a degree, certificate, or transferring to a university.

  1. Complete a Comprehensive Student Education Plan

Call Counseling at 1-805-922-6966 ext. 3293 to schedule an appointment if you have not completed one.

  2. Register for Spring 2019 Classes
  3. Submit Additional Documents to Financial Aid

You may be eligible for additional financial aid to assist with educational costs this year.

First, check the financial aid section in your myHancock student portal to see if you have any “unsatisfied requirements.” If so, click on the link and follow the instructions. If you need assistance with this, call Financial Aid at 1-805-922-6966 ext. 3200.

  4. Complete the Following Online Applications Early for 2019-20 Financial Aid! 
  1. 2019-20 FAFSA OR CALIFORNIA DREAM ACT APPLICATION

    The FAFSA application is available at visit www.fafsa.gov. Visit dream.csac.ca.gov for the California Dream Act application. Details on what you’ll need for the applications are at www.hancockcollege.edu/promise.

  2. 2019-20 HANCOCK COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION

    Apply today for a college scholarship! Thousands of dollars are available to students just like you. The deadline to apply is February 20, 2019. Visit www.hancockcollege.edu/scholarships for details. 

  3. 2019-20 SCHOLARSHIP FOUNDATION OF SANTA BARBARA

    Apply online at www.sbscholarship.org. The deadline to apply is January 15, 2019.
