Academic Affairs

The office of Academic Affairs is responsible for all credit and noncredit instruction, community programs and instructional support services; recruitment, selection, assignment and evaluation of all instructional staff; coordination and use of instructional facilities; and preparation and administration of the instructional budget. Additionally, the office personnel oversee the accreditation self-study process, catalog production, program evaluation and schedule production.

The articulation officer coordinates, initiates and responds to requests for articulation with public and private post-secondary institutions and the California Articulation Numbering (CAN) system office; maintains and disseminates transferable course articulation agreements with post-secondary institutions (ASSIST); cooperates in the maintenance of the UC list of transferable courses; and works with faculty, counselors, deans and committees to facilitate the development of articulation agreements.
