What is basic needs?
The Basic Needs Center at Allan Hancock College focuses on retention and academic success by connecting students with on-campus and community resources related to clothing, childcare, food, hygiene, health, technology support, school supplies, shelter resources, and much more.
Our goal is to create sustainable support systems for students, empowering them to access the resources they need, to be successful academically and personally.
Are you a student facing an unforeseen event or emergency? Or are you a Staff or Faculty working with a student in crisis? Students must be enrolled in fall to utilize Basic Needs services.
